Bathroom is often the most ignored room in the house. To think of it, we spend a large amount of our time in the bathroom. After our bedroom, it is the first room that we see after waking up as well as before going to bed. Just like a warm bath has the ability to soothe your senses, a well designed and comfortable bathroom can make you feel very much relaxed. Italian bath furniture design company Mastella has presented several bathroom collections and Calla lily-inspired bathroom suite was among them.

It’s designed by architect Oriano Favaretto and looks organic and very creative. The suite consists of a freestanding bathtub, pedestal sinks, and white faucets and taps. The bathtubs and sinks repeat the shape of the flower and made of a blend of acrylic resins and minerals, which make them very hygienic, durable and soft to the touch. White faucets and taps in the form of a drop is an awesome and also very natural addition to them. A sumptuous matching bath and sanitary ware set which is like no other in terms of unique design. In much the same way that leaves of lilies curve up and around, growing in width as they get higher, the basin in this suite have the same look. Instead of having one flat surface all the way around as in traditional basin pedestals, there is an overlapping effect, giving the pedestal that same look as a lily. [via]
